Datu has made his way back into my sight

Of course Jess knows the one time he said hi to me in the dining hall during lunch. Not so hot, I agree. He seems most interested though. Out of sheer coincidence he happened to be eating in Rieber for dinner that Tuesday too. I ate alone, saw Rhommel, and James spots me and talks to me, though awkwardly. I was preparing my tea, and I bring my tray over to the table where he, Clarisse, and Rhommel were sitting. We (all of us at the table) end up socializing more, getting an extra bowl of cereal, talking about what we're gonna do. I found myself talking to Rhommel more than Datu. And it was just today when James realized that I lived in Dykstra. Wow, end of the quarter and he just found that out. All this time he thought I lived in De Neve.
I know very well that this isn't supposed to be a complete mystery, but it feels like one right now. Interest? I guess. It's obvious, but not enough for me to be certain. Potentially romantic? I can't see it.
